I was just looking through a memorandum released by Michael Steele, Chairman of the Republican National Committee. The memo detailed some recent poll results and what he views as the findings. He also outlines a list of "realities" and "myths" behind some of the current administration's policies, namely health care. The RNC commissioned a poll about the President, and also asked about health care. Here are some of the results that I believe need to be emphasized:

It is clear from those results, that the American people do not favor a government-run health care system, and that the American people do not favor a system that denies them options when it comes to their doctors. The second question shown above is important because it seems to be the Conservative message that is resonating the strongest in the current debate. Finally, I want to share with you one "myth & reality" that Chairman Steele claimed in his memo:
While I would prefer not to get bogged down in the partisan mud-slinging that can sometimes be associated with agreeing with one party's point over another, the
extensive coverage on health care we've done here at AIP does show the cost won't be low, the quality of care won't be high, and choices will be limited if the liberal health care option is adopted.
