We believe in and will champion the conservative values that make the United States
of America a blessed nation: small government, a strong and ready national defense,
low taxes, and a government that encourages entrepreneurship and new job creation
in America. We also know how critical it is for America to win the war against the
radical Islamic extremists abroad so we do not have to fight them here on American
soil.
Not too long ago, Ronald Reagan inspired a generation of Americans to renew their
sense of patriotism and faith in America by supporting economic expansion and a
strong national defense.
Today, we find those uniquely American values under attack and once again need to
turn to strong, effective leadership to solve the many problems our nation faces.
The bottom line: American Issues Project will always stand strong for the American
ideals that make this country special and promote conservative values that have
stood the test of time.

Ed Failor, Jr.
Ed Failor, Jr., is the President of Iowans for Tax Relief and Vice Chairman of the
National Taxpayers Union. He also serves on the Board of Iowa Right to Life. In
2004, Ed served as E.D. of the RNC Iowa Victory program.
Ed Martin
Ed Martin, a native of New York City, grew up in rural New Jersey and lived in Indonesia
and Italy before settling in St. Louis where he lives with his wife and children.
Ed served in the Vatican as a special assistant to the late Pope John Paul II, as
Director of Human Rights for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, as Chairman of the St.
Louis City Board of Elections, and as Chief of Staff to Missouri Governor Matt Blunt.
Ed currently has his own private law practice specializing in public interest litigation.
